Photography -- Annette Pehrsson

I recently came across this photographs in an online magazine called Unicorn/Dream Magazine titled "into the wild". While the editorial of the magazine itself was not amazing the pictures are vivid and very dream like and well worth a look!

Photography -- David Bilbrough

While looking through some blogs we came across David and his amazing mixed film photography. His work documents the day to day world of the average joe and gives new beauty to the seemingly ugly.

"The Pedestrian Tunnel runs under the River Tyne between Howdon and Jarrow, it was opened in 1951 and are Grade II listed buildings. The building actually consists of two tunnels running in parallel, one for pedestrian use and one for cyclists. Both tunnels are 900 ft long, and lie 40 ft below the river bed.
Ive only been once before this visit on a bike and i took the place for granted as im sure many people have. Yes it might be cold damp and smell off piss, but it has atmosphere like no other. The echo of the escalator rumbling and squeaking when your deep in the tunnel is worth a visit in itself."  - written by David Bilbrough.

So here we are

Quarter Post has finally become something tangible after months of planning, research, conversations, sketches and scribbles.

Here at Quarter Post, we find that there are a lot of artists out there which we particularly like, or are favourites of others who don’t get the recognition they truly deserve. We are here to try and reverse this spell.

If you are a student who dabbles in a bit of art, whether it be photography, graphics, illustration or any other genre, please get in touch.

You can also follow us on Twitter on: Quarter_Post

It would be great to hear from you!
